- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I ordered a case of wine from Heartwood & Oak last Friday. I was not home when a delivery attempt was made, so I called UPS and requested to pick it up and sign for it at the Augusta location 5 min. from where I work. Dismissed out of hand and the customer service rep. would not consider it. I was guaranteed that I could pick it up Saturday. I drove an hour to Auburn and the place was locked up tight. Called UPS again and repeated my request to pick up the package in Augusta. Again a litany of baseless refusals. I reminded the rep. that this was my fifth delivery of wine this year and three of the last four were left in my garage with NO signature from any one. I had to cancel plans made over a week ago to drive to Auburn to find a locked facility I was told was open until 6 PM. It is the same signature in Augusta that it is in Auburn. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Worst experience ever!! Been waiting 2 days for my packages. I get told on the second day for me and my husband to go walk and meet the ups driver in the cold to carry 3 packages home!! Seriously! We go to meet him and he never shows! I never heard of having to go meet a driver, that is the whole point in delivery!
